The differentiated measurement of headspace O2 and DO provides immediate insight into the performance of the filling operation. The multiple routine determinations of TPO and CO2 are fully automated. Up to 150 different product types/packages can be programmed and easily selected. The instrument is suited for the most common sizes of bottles and cans.

FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
The Carbo Controller works by injecting CO2 at the inlet of a dissolution tube. The CO2 is then finely dispersed and dissolved by a set of static mixers, that are engineered to suit your specific process conditions.
The In-line O2 Gehaltemeter, type AuCoMet-i (or In-line CO2/O2 Gehaltemeter for combined measurement) determines the amount of CO2 and can immediately adjust the CO2 dosing rate if necessary. The CO2 analyzer communicates directly with Pentair Haffmans’ CO2 dosing block through embedded software, or via PLC control. Besides being used to control the carbonization process, the CO2 content, and optionally the O2 content, are also available for monitoring the product quality.
The Carbo Controller is available as either a skid mounted system. It consists of proven components, and includes all required piping, wiring and control systems.

CARBONATION AND BLENDING SYSTEM
Pentair Haffmans’ Carbonation and Blending System – Carbo Blender CBR combines accurate control of both blending and carbonation in one skid-mounted unit, enabling the optimization of high gravity beer production with regard to both quantity and quality. Deaerated water dosing is controlled by either original gravity or alcohol measurement, and carbon dioxide (CO2) dosing by CO2 measurement. In addition, there is the option for combined CO2/O2 measurement.

The Haffmans Carbonation and Blending System – Carbo Blender performs blending on the basis of water/beer ratio control, with correction on either original gravity or alcohol content through PLC control. This ensures that the blending process is both effective and highly accurate. After blending, carbonation takes place by injecting CO2 at the inlet of a dissolution tube. The CO2 is then finely dispersed and dissolved by a set of static mixers, which are engineered to suit your specific process conditions, guaranteeing complete, bubble-free dissolving of the CO2.
The Carbo Blender is a skid-mounted system, consisting solely of proven components. It includes all required piping, wiring and a PLC control system.
